What is AquaGold® Microneedling?
Microneedling is a treatment that uses fine needles to trigger collagen production in the skin. It promotes new collagen development so effectively that it is often called collagen induction therapy. AquaGold® combines microneedling with a reservoir that administers beneficial treatments. AquaGold® fine touch™ can treat targeted areas with:
- Botox®
- Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers
- Serums targeted to dry, acne-prone, aging, and other skin types
- Vitamins and nutrients
- Anti-aging peptides
- Pigmentation reduction treatments
AquaGold® microneedling can address a wide range of skin concerns, including hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, and acne scars. When used with targeted injectable treatments, it can improve even more skin issues.
How Does AquaGold® fine touch™ Work?
During an AquaGold® treatment, hundreds of hair-thin needles create channels in your skin. These channels trigger a powerful healing process that causes cells to produce more collagen. This collagen induction therapy firms and smooths your skin. At the same time, AquaGold® needles inject other treatments into the skin.
Is There Any Downtime After AquaGold® Microneedling?
AquaGold® does not require any downtime. You can return to work or other activities immediately. Your skin may look flushed for an hour or two after treatment. Avoid sun exposure and wear sun protection to prevent UV light from damaging your developing collagen. Avoid makeup, hot tubs, and swimming after treatment, and use gentle, non-irritating skincare products. You may have other guidelines depending on the type of injected treatment.
What Results Will I See With AquaGold® fine touch™?
Depending on the targeted treatments used, you may see AquaGold® results almost immediately after treatment. You will notice your skin looks firmer and smoother after a few weeks. These results will continue to develop for up to three months.
Most people benefit from a series of three treatments. Touch-up treatments are usually needed every six months. You may need one more often if you have treatments such as Botox® that do not last as long. With continued use, AquaGold® microneedling can provide continuous anti-aging benefits.
Am I a Good Candidate for AquaGold® Microneedling?
AquaGold® fine touch™ is safe for all skin types and tones. Good candidates want to improve their skin and target specific concerns. Only a consultation can determine which injectable treatments might be right for you. You may not be a good candidate if you have an infection or active skin condition in the treatment area.
