The Soprano ICE™ at Work
There are three types of hair removal that get the hair at the root for a long-term solution: laser hair removal, IPL (intense pulsed light), and electrolysis. Before now, lasers were only effective in patients with light skin tone coupled with darker hair. IPL worked better because it utilizes multiple wavelengths, but compared to lasers are slower and more painful. Electrolysis zaps each hair individually, effectively killing the follicle to prevent growth. This is painful, time-consuming, and expensive. None of these solutions were ideal. That’s all changed.
The Soprano ICE™ laser hair removal system takes the speed of a laser and pairs it with the multiple wavelengths of IPL, increasing the effectiveness of laser hair removal for all skin and hair types and colors in fewer sessions than ever before. The ICE’s™ Contact Cooling cold sapphire tip makes the treatment comfortable for patients, minimizing burns and cooling skin at the surface while the laser energy penetrates the hair follicle with the heat necessary to eradicate it. Treatment, Results, and Downtime
Soprano ICE™ treatments are fast so you can resume your busy schedule with little fuss. Two of our expertly trained laser technicians will move the Soprano ICE™ laser in sweeping, paintbrush strokes of constant motion for maximum coverage and patient comfort. Even large areas, like the back or legs, can be treated in under 60 minutes. Small areas, like underarms or upper lip, take only 15 minutes.
Your hair will thin and shed for 2 weeks following treatment. Because only 30% of hair is in the active growth phase at any given time, patients require 5-7 treatments scheduled 4-6 weeks apart to complete the hair removal process as dormant hairs enter active growth. While the treatment area may be sensitive afterward, it resolves within 30 minutes. Your results begin with the first treatment and accelerate after 2-3 treatments, continuing beyond your last treatment, leaving you with smooth, touchably hair-free skin.
