Chemical Peels
Tired Of Living With Uneven Skin Tone And Texture?
Chemical Peels – Skin Tone and Texture Rejuvenation
Chemical peels of the past were very popular, particularly in the 1990s, but they lacked the refinement of today’s peels. If your skin tone or texture is uneven, or if you have acne, hyperpigmentation, scars, or wrinkles you’d like smoothed out, Rejuve Med Spa has a chemical peel that’s right for you. Relax in our luxurious, exclusive spa to nurture your beauty and wellness while receiving the royal treatment.

How Do Chemical Peels Work?
Rejuve Med Spa is proud to offer three medical grade chemical peels by SkinMedica® for all skin types, colors, and ages. While the words “chemical peel” may seem intense, the procedures themselves are minimally invasive forms of exfoliation. Typical peels use acids, which encourage the topmost layer of damaged skin to shed, taking those unwanted imperfections with it. This signals healthy, newer cells beneath to surface and multiply, boosting collagen production and hydration in the skin. In other words, it urges your skin to behave as it did in your youth.
The Illuminize Peel
Illuminize is perfect for first-time patients seeking a gentle, superficial treatment. This light peel maximizes skin resurfacing with minimal irritation. Similar to microdermabrasion, there is no peeling phase with Illuminize. For help in restoring a youthful glow and smoothing skin, Illuminize is a great first step.
The Vitalize Peel
Our most popular peel, Vitalize is great for patients with all skin types who want a deeper, more effective peel. Better for anti-aging, this peel smooths fine lines, and clears up acne. Because it is a stronger product, it does have a 2-3 day peeling phase. Once complete, the skin is smooth, more vibrant, and more radiant than before.
The Rejuvenize Peel
For patients accustomed to the Vitalize Peel who desire something with more effect, Rejuvenize may be the ideal peel for you. It can be used on the darkest of skin tones and correct moderate to severe skin imperfections through a 3-4 day peeling phase. In the end, your skin will look and feel fresh and renewed from the sun and other types of damage, with a more uniform complexion.
The RevePeel
For patients looking for a reduction of hyperpigmentation, melasma, fine lines, acne scars or age spots, the RevePeel is a great option. This medium-depth, medical-grade peel works to repair skin at the cellular level on the face, neck, décolletage, chest and hands. RevePeel recipients can see younger, glowing skin with a single peel.
Enlighten RX Peel
This peel is great for post-summer hyperpigmentation and melasma. It is a 28 day program that helps with removing pigment. The active ingredients are HQ 8%, Retinol, Salicylic acid, Kojic acid, Arbutin, Niacinamide, THD ascorbate, Vitamin C. This will not only help with pigment but also help with texture, acne, pigmentation and overall complexion.
Am I a Good Candidate?
First-time chemical peel patients, patients with mild skin imperfections, or those looking for a better exfoliation than over-the-counter products are more suited for the Illuminize option. Patients with mild-to-moderate skin imperfections who wish to correct aging, sun exposure, smooth out wrinkles, and desire uniform skin texture and tone, are ideal candidates for the Vitalize peel. Rejuvenize is the best choice for patients with a tolerance for milder peels who have moderate-to-severe skin imperfections from aging, sun damage, scarring, melasma, or other texture and tone issues.

Why Choose Rejuve Med Spa for Your Chemical Peel?
We’ve invested in the Visia skin analysis machine to provide a comprehensive, multi-dimensional portrait of our patients’ complexions. This informs you of which cosmetic treatments are ideal for your unique needs, so you can customize your experience at Rejuve Med Spa for the most effective treatments possible. Our low-pressure consultations paint a complete picture, so if you’re not sure which chemical peel is optimal (or if a different treatment altogether is recommended), we have state-of-the-art equipment to help you decide.
How Long Does a Typical Treatment Last?
Chemical peels typically take 20 minutes to apply, and the depth of peel you’ve chosen determines your amount of downtime. Tolerance to the procedures varies by individual, but the side effects, such as tingling or slight burning sensations, are minimal and subside within minutes of the completion of your session.
How Quickly Will I See Results?*
All three peels show immediate changes to the condition of your skin, though their full level of improvement may not be seen until after the peeling phases are complete. With Illuminize and Vitalize, your skin will be immediately improved. Some redness may persist for a few hours and is easily covered with makeup. Rejuvenize patients may experience a yellowish tinge to the skin immediately following the application, but this lasts no more than 2-3 hours. Any redness is normal, but with this peel, it may not resolve until after the peeling phase is complete. Results include diminished lines, wrinkles, scars, lightened age spots, and melasma, and overall texture and clarity improvement. To achieve lasting results, we may recommend repeated applications, typically between 3-6 sessions every 3-4 weeks.
“I have been a customer at Rejuve MedSpa for the past 2 years getting laser hair removal and chemical peels. It has been a life changing experience! Morgan and Kinsey are amazing at what they do and always make me feel comfortable by addressing my concerns and questions Witt great regard. Best decision I ever made for myself!”*
Tanya, Patient
Is There Any Downtime?
There is no downtime for the mildest peel. Patients with the more moderate peels will experience a peeling phase and some redness for 1-2 days after the procedure. While regular activity is not restricted, sun exposure should be limited for 1 week and it is critical to use a broad spectrum sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher.
