Typical peels use potent medical ingredients such as different types of acids, which encourage the topmost layer of damaged skin to shed, taking unwanted imperfections with it. This process signals healthy, newer cells beneath the skin to resurface and multiply, boosting collagen production and hydration in the skin. chemical peel for acne are great treatments for clients who wish to address skin discoloration as well as skin texture.
Rejuve Med-Spa is proud to offer chemical peels from the most innovative lines in the medical aesthetics industry: ReveSkin, SkinMedica®, Epionce, and SkinBetter Science.
The Illuminize Peel®: The Illuminize Peel® is perfect for first-time clients seeking a gentle, superficial treatment. This light peel maximizes skin resurfacing with minimal irritation. Similar to microdermabrasion, there is no peeling phase with Illuminize.
The Vitalize Peel®: The Vitalize Peel® is one of our most popular peels and is ideal for clients with all skin types who want a deeper, more effective peel. The Vitalize Peel® is great for anti-aging, smooths fine lines, and clears up acne. Because it is a deeper peel, there is a two to three-day peeling phase. Once complete, you can achieve smoother, more vibrant, and more radiant skin.
The Rejuvenize Peel®: For clients accustomed to the Vitalize Peel® who desire a deeper treatment, the Rejuvenize Peel® may be the ideal treatment for you. The Rejuvenize Peel® can correct moderate to severe skin imperfections through a three to four-day peeling phase. In the end, your skin will feel fresh and renewed from the sun and other types of damage, with a more uniform complexion.
Enlighten™ RX Peel: This peel is excellent for melasma and hyperpigmentation. The Enlighten RX peel is a depigmentation system that consists of two peel applications (two weeks apart) and an at-home product regimen to be utilized for a 28-day period.
Rejuve also includes a rehydrating facial treatment–the Glow Session—to top off the peel process. This treatment not only delivers superior results to anyone battling melasma, but it will also help to improve textural issues, as well as acne, and brighten the skin overall. The Enlighten Peel Plus may also be recommended for individuals based on certain factors; this treatment includes a more intensive peel application and an altered appointment schedule.
The RevePeel®: As the signature liquid peel from ReveSkin, this peel delivers superior results in a single treatment and is often deemed a “laser in a bottle” treatment. This medium-depth sheet peel uses a revolutionary oil-blended delivery system and is safe for all skin types and tones. If you’re seeking a highly effective option for hyperpigmentation, scarring, texture, congested skin, or acne, this may be the ideal chemical peel for you.
The ReveFresh Peel: This variation of the original RevePeel is great for first-time medical-grade chemical peel users, young acne patients, and sensitive skin. The amount of peeling and downtime depends on the skin type and how it is pretreated. While not as strong as the RevePeel, this option generates significant results to improve acne, sun damage, pigmentation, and fine lines.
AlphaRet Peel 30: This patented retinoid, alpha hydroxy acid conjugate (AlphaRet) + Triple Acid (glycolic, lactic, and salicylic) formulation targets photodamaged skin, including early signs of skin aging and blemishes. This mild formulation is referred to as a “non-peeling peel;” while providing an efficient cellular turnover, typically, there will be minimal to zero flaking of the skin.
AlphaRet Peel 50: A more intensive version of the AlphaRet 30, the AlphaRet 50 is still considered a “non-peeling peel.” It is typically recommended to build up to this option after performing a series of the AlphaRet 30 in order for the skin to be acclimated. While addressing the same skin concerns of the milder option, the AlphaRet 50 will also target uneven skin tone, dullness, fine lines, and wrinkles.
Epionce Original Peel System: This medical-grade blend of Salicylic and Malic acids gives improvement for candidates with aging concerns, hyperpigmentation, rosacea, and acne. With only two to four days of minor flaking and redness, clients will benefit from increased cellular turnover to retexturize and smooth the skin. This peel is an amazing addition to an anti-aging treatment plan.
Lite Peel: Refresh: Cited as Epionce’s “lunchtime peel,” this peel option has the benefit of zero downtime. As a simple one-step treatment, the Refresh peel relieves congestion, dullness, and sallowness while regenerating and smoothing the skin. Clients will see an immediate boost of clarity and radiance in the skin.
This two-phase TCA peel features trichloroacetic acid, a popular chemical peel ingredient, enhanced by several other acids and vitamins. The powerful combination deeply exfoliates your skin, allowing the vitamins to infuse moisture.
Exfoliation is the essential goal of any chemical peel, but BioRePeel takes it a step further with its dual-action approach. It also helps remove keratinized skin cells and infuses the skin with moisture, restoring smoother, softer skin.
The BioRePeel is beneficial for many common skin concerns. We may recommend it for acne scars, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and more. Side effects and downtime after this gentle TCA peel are minimal.
The benefits of chemical peels include:
Chemical peeling can show immediate changes to the condition of your skin; however, it typically takes until after the peeling phases are complete to see the full extent of results. Results include diminished hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, scars, lightened age spots, melasma, and overall texture and clarity improvement.
Though effects may vary, it is generally recommended to have monthly treatments for lighter or more superficial peels and annual or semi-annual treatments with deeper peel services. To achieve lasting results, your aesthetician will create a customized plan outlining your recommended product regimen and future treatments in order to maintain your new and luminous skin.
