How Sculptra® Works
Sculptra® is different from other injectable treatments because it doesn’t just fill wrinkles or restore volume immediately—it works by stimulating collagen production in the skin over time. When injected, PLLA microspheres gradually activate your body’s collagen-producing cells (fibroblasts). As collagen builds, your skin becomes firmer, smoother, and more youthful.

Sculptra® Downtime
One of the key benefits of Sculptra® is the minimal downtime involved. Once your treatment is complete, you might notice some slight swelling or tenderness, but this usually goes away in a few days. To support even distribution and optimal results, patients are encouraged to gently massage the treated areas for five minutes, five times a day, for the first five days post-treatment.
