This regenerative treatment is a versatile regenerative treatment that uses growth factors and healing cells derived from your own blood. These growth factors signal the body to repair damaged tissue, stimulate collagen production, and support healthier hair follicles.
PRP injections have long been used in sports medicine to accelerate healing. In aesthetic medicine, this procedure for hair growth and skin rejuvenation has become increasingly popular because it offers noticeable improvement without synthetic substances or surgery.
At Rejuve Med Spa, this growth factor therapy may be used on its own or combined with complementary treatments to enhance outcomes. Patients seeking advanced regenerative solutions may also benefit from exploring PRF therapy, which offers a slower release of growth factors, or visiting our wellness services page to support overall cellular health from within.
PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma. Platelets are rich in growth factors that stimulate collagen, elastin, and keratin production. When PRP is injected into the scalp or skin, it activates the body’s natural repair mechanisms.
The PRP injection process follows three simple steps:
This process encourages healthier hair follicles, improved circulation, and stronger tissue regeneration.
PRP hair restoration targets thinning areas by stimulating stem cells and reversing follicle miniaturization. As follicles receive increased nutrients and growth signals, hair becomes thicker, stronger, and more resilient.
Benefits of this natural solution for hair loss include:
Many patients begin noticing reduced shedding within weeks. PRP hair restoration before-and-after results typically show visible improvements in thickness and texture within 3 to 6 months.
The same growth factors that benefit hair follicles can also restore aging or damaged skin. PRP injections improve tone, texture, and elasticity while reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
PRP is often combined with SkinPen® microneedling to amplify results. Microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries that stimulate collagen, while PRP enhances healing and regeneration. This synergistic approach leads to smoother, firmer, and more radiant skin.
Downtime after the procedure is minimal. Most patients return to daily activities immediately after treatment. Because PRP is derived from your own blood, the risk of allergic reaction is extremely low.
Temporary side effects may include mild redness, swelling, or tenderness at the injection sites, which usually resolve within a few days. Our team provides detailed post-care instructions to help you achieve optimal results.
This regenerative treatment offers a wide range of benefits for both hair and skin rejuvenation.
