Morpheus8® RF Microneedling for Skin Texture and Rejuvenation

This fractional RF technology is designed to remodel the skin from within. Fine microneedles create controlled micro-injuries while radiofrequency energy is delivered into targeted tissue layers. This combination initiates a natural healing response that can encourage the formation of new collagen and elastin over time, making it a well-suited option for those seeking a skin rejuvenation treatment that works gradually and without surgery.

At Rejuve Med-Spa, every plan is customized to the individual. Your provider will evaluate your complexion, aesthetic goals, medical history, and the area being addressed before selecting appropriate settings and depth. It may also be incorporated into a broader skin-restoration approach when multiple concerns are present.

We proudly serve patients throughout the DFW metroplex, including Addison, Allen, Carrollton, Frisco, McKinney, Plano, and Richardson.

How the Technology Works

Traditional needling uses fine needles to create controlled microchannels that prompt the body’s natural repair process. This technology builds on that foundation by adding radiofrequency energy, which creates controlled heat within targeted tissue while the needles are in position. The goal is to stimulate deep remodeling beneath the surface while minimizing disruption to surrounding tissue.

Before your session, a topical numbing cream is typically applied to improve comfort. Appointment length varies based on the size and number of zones being addressed. Your clinician may make multiple passes using settings selected specifically for your skin and goals.

This approach is most commonly chosen for concerns including uneven skin texture and other signs of visible aging. Depending on your individualized plan, it may help improve the appearance of:

  • Uneven skin texture and rough surface quality
  • Fine lines and early wrinkles
  • Acne scars and certain other textural scarring
  • Crepey or thinning-looking skin
  • Enlarged-looking pores
  • Mild laxity and early loss of firmness
  • Overall smoothness and skin tone

This option is not the right fit for every concern. Pigmentation, vascular redness, significant laxity, or volume loss may be better served by other technologies or a combination approach. A consultation allows our team to recommend the most appropriate path rather than applying a one-size-fits-all solution.

Treatment zones are selected based on candidacy and individual provider assessment. Settings, depth, and energy levels are customized for each area and patient. Common areas that may be addressed include:

Not every area is appropriate for every patient. Your Rejuve provider will confirm candidacy and customize the approach during your consultation.

Good candidates are generally healthy adults looking to improve uneven skin texture, fine lines, acne scarring, crepey skin, or mild loss of firmness, with realistic expectations about a non-surgical option. A consultation is required to determine whether this skin tightening treatment is appropriate for your complexion and medical history.

Inform your provider about medications, implanted devices, pregnancy or breastfeeding, history of abnormal scarring, and any recent procedures or relevant health conditions before your session.

Not sure whether Morpheus8® RF microneedling is the right fit?

We are here to help. Rejuve Med-Spa offers personalized, physician-led consultations designed to guide you toward the right option with clarity, confidence, and no pressure.

Recovery varies with session intensity, the area addressed, and individual healing response. Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, pinpoint marks, dryness, or a rough surface are possible after your appointment. Some patients may also notice mild bruising. These effects generally improve as the treated area heals, though more intensive appointments can require a longer recovery window.

Your specialist will provide detailed post-care instructions. In general, keep the treated zone clean, avoid picking or scrubbing, use only approved products during early healing, and protect the area from sun exposure. This is especially relevant for North Dallas patients, where high UV intensity throughout spring and summer can affect the healing process.

Because this RF technology stimulates a gradual remodeling response, it functions as a skin rejuvenation treatment that delivers improvements over time rather than appearing immediately. Some patients notice early changes in surface quality as healing progresses, with continued refinement over the following weeks and months as the collagen remodeling treatment takes full effect.

The number of visits recommended depends on your starting point and goals. A series is often used for more significant textural concerns or acne scarring, while periodic maintenance may be considered after the initial plan is complete. Your Rejuve clinician will recommend an individualized schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions

What sets this RF procedure apart from traditional needling?

Conventional needling creates controlled micro-injuries to stimulate the body’s natural healing response. This technology delivers radiofrequency energy to targeted tissue, incorporating a controlled thermal component that supports deeper remodeling.

Comfort varies from person to person and depends on the area and settings used. A topical numbing cream is typically applied beforehand. Most patients describe pressure, warmth, or brief pinching sensations during the session.

Appointment length depends on what is being addressed and the overall plan. Additional time is generally needed for topical numbing before the procedure begins, followed by post-care guidance from your clinician.

There is no universal answer. Some patients benefit from a series, particularly when addressing acne scarring or more pronounced texture concerns. Your provider will recommend the number and spacing of appointments based on your specific goals.

Early improvements may become noticeable as healing progresses, but the full effect of this collagen remodeling treatment develops gradually. Continued refinement is common for several weeks to months following your visits.

Redness, swelling, tenderness, pinpoint marks, dryness, or surface roughness are all possible. Recovery varies based on appointment intensity and individual healing. Your clinician will walk you through what to expect for your specific plan.

Follow the exact post-care instructions provided by your provider. Makeup and active skincare ingredients may need to be avoided during initial healing to reduce irritation and support proper recovery.

RF microneedling does not rely on targeting pigment the way many light-based procedures do, but skin tone is only one factor in determining candidacy. Settings and post-care protocols still need to be selected carefully. A consultation is the best way to find out whether this option is appropriate for you.

No. This is a non-surgical remodeling option and cannot reproduce the degree of lifting or tissue repositioning achieved with surgery. It is better suited to patients seeking improvement in surface quality, fine lines, texture, and mild laxity.

Often, yes. Depending on your goals, your specialist may recommend this approach as part of a broader plan that includes injectables, chemical peels, laser or light-based options, or other skin-restoration services available at Rejuve Med-Spa. Timing matters with combinations, so your provider will guide the sequence.

RF microneedling is a medical aesthetic service with potential risks. In October 2025, the FDA issued a safety communication regarding serious complications with certain uses of RF microneedling devices, including burns, scarring, and nerve damage. Our team evaluates each patient individually and reviews risks, benefits, and alternatives before proceeding.

Your clinician will provide individualized instructions ahead of your visit. Let the Rejuve team know about your medications, recent procedures, current irritation or infection, and any significant medical conditions before arriving.
