You are a good candidate for sunspot and sun damage treatments if you have experienced sun damage in the form of severe sunburn or blistering, prolonged exposure to tanning beds, and over time have developed darker pigmented spots on the skin’s surface.

What Results Will I See?
Results will vary depending on the procedure that you pick, but generally, these treatments will reduce the appearance of sunspots as well as acne and acne scarring. Treatments will leave your skin looking smoother in texture and more glowing in appearance. These treatments will reduce the appearance of age spots and sunspots to give a move even coloration to the skin. Is There Any Downtime?
Most treatments for sun damage and sunspots will not involve downtime, however, patients who select chemical peels may opt to take a few days off from work as the skin may scab and flake. In most instances, patients may be asked to avoid sun exposure or heavy physical exertion for a few days to one week. After all procedures, patients will be advised to use sunscreen on a regular basis when exposed to sunlight.
