The first step to healthy skin is your unique complexion profile. Rejuve uses the state-of-the-art VISIA Complexion Analysis system that performs a quality and in-depth evaluation of your individual facial characteristics. This system allows us to design rejuvenation and skin-care programs that are ideal for your specific complexion.

The VISIA system is a multi-spectral imaging process that produces a clear, multidimensional illustration of the unique aspects of your complexion, which play a key role in your overall appearance. It identifies sun damage by measuring features such as wrinkles and evenness. Due to VISIA’s accurate imaging of your complexion, we can display the superlative rejuvenation options for your specific combinations of facial characteristics. VISIA also provides exceptional assistance in observing your complexion’s vitality and checking effectiveness of your skin care regimen over time.

A VISIA session uses multi-spectral analysis and imaging to obtain important visual information for six areas affecting complexion appearance and health: spots, pores, wrinkles, evenness (color variation in the skin tone), UV spots (characteristic of photo damage, usually from overexposure to sun), and porphyrins (evidence of bacteria in pores). Furthermore, VISIA compares your complexion’s characteristics to characteristics of other women of your same age and ethnicity. This expansive information enables our staff to display the ideal treatments and regimens for you. We will provide you with a printed VISIA report, which you can take home, that provides details regarding your imaging session and rejuvenation and skin care options that we recommend.

Age spots, irregular skin pigmentation, and wrinkles were once considered to be inevitable parts of the aging process. Rejuve Med-Spa's technology not only challenges this creed, but also provides proven methods of defying it.

A Photo-Facial will reverse visible signs of aging and correct sun damage in a non-invasive manner. This technique uses Advanced Fluorescence Technology (AFT) to achieve dramatic results for a number of cosmetic problems, such as Broken Capillaries, Rosacea and Sun Damage. Since the skin's epidermal surface is not disturbed, there is no recovery time involved. A Photo-Facial allows you to rejuvenate your skin while enjoying your normal activities immediately following treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is a Photo-Facial?
Photo-Facials remove Hyperpigmentation (brown spots), even out skin tone (excessive browns and reds), reduce pore size, and stimulate collagen growth using a series of intense pulsed light applied by a licensed Laser Aesthetician.
2. How many sessions will it take?
Each client is unique; however, the average number of treatments is five.
3. Am I a good candidate?
If you would like to improve the overall appearance of your skin without the expense, risks and downtime associated with plastic surgery, you are an excellent candidate for these procedures.
4. Is there any downtime?
Not at all! This procedure is non-invasive and most clients return to their normal activities immediately following treatment.
5. How safe are the treatments?
Very safe! Side effects are extremely rare. Immediately following treatment, some clients may experience a bit of redness or flushing, and skin irregularities such as brown spots and capillaries may be temporarily darker. In most cases, however, these irregularities fade and are followed by impressive results.
6. What are Broken Capillaries and how does a Photo Facial treat them?
Broken Capillaries or Facial Vascular lesions are the result of the accumulation of excess hemoglobin in the veins and capillaries. They may appear as a cluster of broken capillaries, cherry angiomas, or hemangiomas. Although these benign growths are harmless, many people prefer to have them removed for cosmetic reasons. The Photo Facial treatment targets and destroys the stagnant hemoglobin. The body then absorbs and disposes of it. The procedure is a simple and effective therapy to help you return your skin to its natural tone.
7. What is Rosacea and how does a Photo Facial treat it?
Rosacea is a common but little-known skin disease that afflicts 14 million Americans. It is an acne-like disorder that causes redness, swelling and visible capillaries on the face. It may begin as a tendency to flush or blush easily and then progress to persistent redness in the center of the face that may gradually involve the cheeks, forehead, chin, and nose. According to the American Academy of Dermatology, it is crucial for persons with Rosacea "to seek treatment early to avoid progression of the condition and avoid any permanent scarring to the face." Photo Facial treatments will alleviate symptoms of Rosacea, bringing visual relief and results to dilated capillaries, congestion, blotchiness and irritability of the skin.
8. What are Pigmented Lesions and how does a Photo Facial treat them?
Sun Damage or Pigmented lesions or are the result of the accumulation of excess melanin, the substance that gives our skin its color. They are discolorations of the skin, such as sun spots (also called age spots or liver spots), freckles, or birth marks. At Rejuve, we use state-of-the-art laser-light therapy to target the pigment associated with these unsightly lesions. When laser light is absorbed into the pigment, it vaporizes the melanin into much smaller molecules that are then absorbed and removed by the body. The procedure is a simple and effective therapy to help you return your skin to its natural tone.
